If today’s comic looks slightly familiar, it is probably because I have been using this drawing of William in my horizontal banner adverts. He is a nice horizontal shape perfect for banner advertising. I quite like how this one turned out. It’s fun to invoke a little pathos every now and again.
You may have noticed that there is no update to The Cat Blog today. I’ve come to realise that the blog is taking up as much time as the actual comic, especially now that the updates are appearing with a graphic that takes almost as long as an actual comic to draw. In most cases, the article is simply a rewritten version of a newspaper article, and, as such, I’m not finding it entirely satisfactory.
So, after a lot of head scratching and thinking, I have decided that I will only update the blog when something particularly cat newsworthy has happened. Instead, I am (from November) going to update the comic five times a week (Monday to Friday). Having made the decision I am much happier that my time will be spent doing what I enjoy most.
