Rocco is another real life cat belonging to my friend Rosie. Rocco is the brother of Monty (last Friday’s cat).
Rosie gave me a description of Rocco’s personality which inspired today’s comic.
“Rocco chose looks and personality over brains when they were being dished out. He gets the basic idea of things but rarely grasps the full concept. For example, if he needs to go outside, he’ll sit and cry by the nearest door regardless of whether it goes outside or not, or if you open any door he’ll go through whether he needed to or not. These traits result in a lot of meowing and a great deal of coming and going. He does love a good hug though and he purrs like a freight train.”
So with two of Rosie’s three cats now featured in The Cat Comic, that leaves just one to go, and the sophisticated Sable will feature as one of next week’s comics.
Hehe I’ve got a Narnia-wardrobe comic lying somewhere on my computer, maybe I’ll dig it up one day too. Rosie’s description of Rocco is pure comedy. I think most people are unaware that different cats have different personalities, and different levels of intelligence. Rocco certainly makes up for the lack of brains, his markings are really symmetrical!
