Often, the very last thing I think of is the name of the cat (or cats) for any given comic. Sometimes I try to come up with a name that sounds relevant to the joke. Other times, I just pick a name I like. When it came to naming today’s cats I was stuck for ideas. I tried pairing several names but they just didn’t look right. However, I happened to remember my Mum telling me that when she was growing up, her family had two cats called Tig and Tim. They seemed to fit today’s cats quite nicely. Thanks Mum!
