The Cat Comic presents Monty.
Monty, is based on a real cat of the same name. He is one of three cats belonging to my friend Rosie (the others will be featured in the near future). Rosie kindly gave me a reference image of Monty and a description of him, upon which I based today’s comic.
“Monty has brains which unfortunately get him into trouble as they come with curiosity. He has spent two days up a tree, 12 hours inside a bed, one night shut in the attic and a day in the shed. He sleeps in things; you can’t put a box down without him getting in: no box? he’ll use a carrier bag! He could eat for Britain . We sometimes call him Steve, just ‘cos he looks like a Steve. He’s a bit of a mummy’s boy!”
Welcome to The Cat Comic, Monty!

Haha! Monty looks like Charlie Chaplin!!
With the brains, the curiosity and the moustache, I like to think of him as a cat version of Hercule Poirot!
Intelligence is no guarantee of success in the social circuit. He needs to grease the right palms…
Haha! Well said. Nothing greases palms like butter! Or cash. Actually cash would work better.
